Indian Handmade Teapot: Colorful Home Decor & Collectible Art

You know what? I’m just wondering, could there be some people who doesn’t like traditional arts & crafts?

According to my audience on social media, I am able to get opinions of some people about what they think about having traditional arts and crafts. Many of them seem to understand that arts & crafts traditions are not just a piece for fashion or decoration but for great purpose because it serves as historical background and traced bac to past even .

However, as far as am concerned with traditional folk arts & crafts, I can say India Traditional artworks is one of a kind that can’t be lash out.

This is a traditional Indian art presented on a hand-painted pot. What an original and unique idea! Inspiring, isn’t it? Painted art doesn’t have to be just a painting hanging on the wall. This stunning pot has traditional motives all over it. It’s very colorful, which is a typical part of the Indian culture. It’s of a standard size, with a handle and a removable lid, but it’s made of aluminium, which means it shouldn’t be used for hot beverages. Be careful about that. Who would use a valuable UNESCO-protected work of art to pour drinks anyway? All in all, this gorgeous pot is a must-have for both decorative and collectible purposes.

I have been seeing many traditional crafts from different India artisans but this kettle is one of the most gorgeous india art I could ever see. Because of different purpose it has. It doesn’t need any special treatment as the colors used are stable so they won’t fade or change shades.

Let’s talk about it origin.

Where does it come from?

There is a small village near the city of Kolkata, West Bengal, India. Local people decided to preserve the traditional art handed down from generation to generation of artisans.
