I’m Jana Cihelková, and I’ve always had a deep love for nature, people, culture, and history. These passions have shaped how I see the world, not just in beauty, but in meaning. Over time, they inspired me to start a journey that connects people through something timeless: traditional arts and crafts.

As I travelled and explored different cultures, I saw how much talent lives in the hands of local artisans, people who create with skill, care, and soul, often in humble settings. Many of these artisans live in poor communities and depend on their craft to survive. That’s where the idea for this project began: to support them by sharing their work with the world.

At FolkArts.site, we collect handmade traditional crafts from skilled but under-supported artisans across the globe. Our goal is to give their work the platform it deserves — by making it accessible and affordable to anyone who values authentic culture and handmade beauty.

We buy directly from the artisans, ensuring they receive fair support, and we handle everything needed to deliver these crafts to customers around the world.

This project is not just about selling items — it’s about building a bridge between cultures, preserving traditions, and helping people through meaningful trade.
