A traditional Indian art presented on hand-painted pot. What an original and unique idea! Inspiring, isn’t it? Painted art doesn’t have to be just painting hanging on the wall. This stunning pot has traditional motives all over it. It’s very colorful which is a typical part of the Indian culture. It’s of a standard size, with handle and removable lid, but it’s made of aluminium which means it shouldn’t be used for hot beverages. Be careful about that. Who would actually use a valuable UNESCO-protected work of art to pour drinks anyway? All in all this gorgeous pot is a must-have decorative and collectible item. Only one is available, so don’t hesitate and grab it for your home.
Where does it come from?
There is a small village near the city of Kolkata, West Bengal, India. Local people decided to preserve the traditional art handed down from generation to generation of artisans. Their art is inspired, colorful and so unique that UNESCO decided to protect it as a world art and cultural heritage. So here we go: this pot is no ordinary pot.
How to take care of it?
It doesn’t need any special treatment as the colors used are stable so they won’t fade or change shades.
